Subject: Special musical invitation to all From: Louie Roy Date: 15 Jan 02 - 06:24 PM A special invitation to all mudcatters and anyone else who loves to jam with acoustic instruments or just listen to good old time music.The Oregon Old Time Fiddlers are having their State Convention in Roseburg Oregon March 13,14,15 and 16 at the Douglas County Fairgrounds and each day starting at 8AM there wil be continuous jamming until Midnight.At 7PM 13 and 14 there will be an organized sign up program so all musicians and vocalist can participate and show off their musical talent whether they play a Fiddle,guitar,banjo,uke,bones spoons,bass,piano or home made instruments.No Electric instruments,Horns or Drums allowed.Lots of music and frienly people.Food and non alcoholic drinks are available in the convention hall.Parking for RV and trailers with hook up $15:00 per day at the fairgrounds.Parking on the blacktop with no hook ups by convention hall $10:00 per day.Plenty of motels and restaurants nearby.March 15 starting at 7PM their will be an invitational program called The Best In The West consisting of the best Musicians and Vocalists throughout the state.Many Fiddlers are State and National Champions. March 16 meeting aand jamming banquet at 5PM Starting at 8PM dancing until midnight.For more Info contact Louie Roy |

Subject: RE: Special musical invitation to all From: Louie Roy Date: 16 Jan 02 - 10:06 AM Sorsha and Kat you can't live that far apart in Wyoming and it is an easy 20 hour drive all freeway to Roseburg.I"ve drove it from Spearfish SD several times in 20 hours give it some thought.There will be around 400 families attending during the 4 days.Anyone coming down I-5 it's easy off easy on with plenty of free parking daily.Louie |
