mincy prince gigawatt - there you go, lass.

Everyone knows the old Latin Palindrome thing:

SATOR AREPO TEMET OPERA ROTAS

("The sower Arepo works with the help of a wheel")

Any favourite palindromes out there? I'll Start you off:

Never odd or even.

EJ

My real name yields "devils access throat", which I reckon is pretty amusing for a singer.

Well of the many choices that my non-colonial English language anagram maker provides I quite like

HMS Full Lore

very fitting, for those of you who know about my interest in the sailing Royal Navy.

Well, my first try didn't produce anything interesting, but when I added my middle name (Louise) I got, among others:
sickeningly ouan
skylounge niacin
lackeying unions
conking uneasily
uncoiling sneaky, and
unceasingly oink.

Great stuff. Cheers, Nancy

Now again in the cheat mode:

George Bush: He bugs Gore
Ronald Reagan: A darn long era
Salman Rushdie: Read, shun Islam
The Florida vote recount: Done to cover their fault

or one of the gems:

To be or not to be: that is the question, whether tis nobler in the mind to suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune. :

In one of the Bard's best-thought-of tragedies, our insistent hero, Hamlet, queries on two fronts about how life turns rotten.

Don't praise me, it's just copy & paste (& spec a typo) work

swirly, go to the link in my first post and type your name in. You have a very fertile name for anagrams ! (For example, on the Titanic theme, how about "racy impacting twinge", or "twiggy mincing captain" )

From: Murray MacLeod

Inspired by the "How many anagrams of Bill Gates" thread, and the link provided by Bill D on that thread to thisAnagram Generator", I decided to start yet another time- wasting thread, in the tradition of my *Ego-Surfing" one, wherein you discover the most amusing anagrams of your own (Mudcat or 3D) name.

By clicking on the link above and inputting my name , I discover that my own name morphs at the 2 word level to modular creamy. At the 3 word level I discovered among others marry douce lama. This made me think immediately of kendall so I input "kendall morse" and I got .....well, you can find out for yourselves.

HINT: At the 3-word level and higher, you can get different anagrams by inputting the letters in your name in a different order.

So who has the funniest anagram?

Murray
