Subject: 1900 yesterday From: gatyamgal Date: 19 Jan 02 - 01:55 PM This is a song from 1970 sung by Liz Damon's Orient Express. The other side of the 45 was a song called You're Falling in Love My 45 of it broke several years ago but I still remember both songs very well, except some of the lyrics are escaping me. Thanks in advance for your help. |

Subject: RE: Lyr Req: 1900 yesterday From: gatyamgal Date: 19 Jan 02 - 02:15 PM Ironically, that was the midi that started my search. I have been making midis into karaoke files and that is why I am searching for the words. Here are the lyrics of the first verse, as I remember them.
Where's the love that we knew is it gone And the next verse says something about who's to blame. Thanks for trying to help. |

Subject: Lyr Add: 1900 YESTERDAY From: Brakn Date: 22 Jan 02 - 03:07 PM Where's the love that we knew is it gone Or have you thrown it away. All the joy that we shared I feel sure Is not here anymore. Like smoke from a cigarette, Dreams that you soon forget It's fading away And it's 1900 Yesterday. I felt you felt the same Tell me who? Who's to blame? The broken heart you've given me All the hurt and misery Where did I go wrong Like smoke from a cigarette, Dreams that you soon forget And night has no day. And it's 1900 Yesterday. Where's the love that we knew is it gone Or have you thrown it away. All the joy that we shared I feel sure Is not here anymore. Like smoke from a cigarette, Dreams that you soon forget And night has no day. And it's 1900 Yesterday. |
