This song is right up my alley! But surprisingly, I don't have any songs that bear that title in my collection.

I'll also suggest "He Paid The Penalty" by Carl Story, but I can't find a way to listen to the song, sadly.

I need a new keyboard. Typing for me is look and peck, and both the i and o keys have had the letters rubbed from them, along with the t and n keys. Right now the l key ain't looking too good either. So, sorry. I meant piece, not poece. ;-)

I had thought about that song and discounted it at first because though it focuses on the cross there's no payment involved, but I could certainly see someone making their own verses to it. "He paid the price on the cross" would fit perfectly on the first and third lines of the chorus
