There'll be a few left in Whitby. I ought to point out that Moor and Coast's website is designed by our own Cavia_P.

dave o'dea and jane will be there for sure; taking the cruiseferry accross from Planet Mossley. We missed Moor and Coast last year and went to Girvan instead. Can't wait to get the camping gear out and tie the dog to the roofrack.

We got into BIG trouble for failing to turn up last year so have promised to try and make it this. It's a great festival and totally different from the one in Summer.

Hi, John. It's on a much smaller scale and in different venues than the August one, but still well worth a visit.

It is organised and run by the same people who run the food tents at a lot of other festivals. They bring in a lot of fresh talent each year and most of the events take place on the camp site which is the community college. Of course the food tent is also there and the usual post event sessions take place well into the wee small hours there. We usually try to put our caravan as close as possible without actually parking in the tent itself. No, this is not to make sure we find our way back but so we can keep an ear/eye on the ducklings who are totally oblivious to the noise!

Well I will be there with Coblers Monday here's the web site address for the Moor and Coast! http://www.moorandcoast.co.uk/ They haven't up dated the coblers monday website link yet it takes you to our old site which will get you to our NEW HOME PAGE OR you can go direct by using http://uk.geocities.com/aaardvark001/index.html

Moor News Veronica Nelson (Kika) has taken over 87a Church Street, Whitby It's a great bed and breakfast with out Breakfast. There is Tea and Coffee in everyroom along with a coulor telivison should you need to chill out. Rooms from £25 per night for a double room.

FROM £25 PER NIGHT. 1 FAMILY ROOM (DOUBLE, 2 SINGLES) 1 FAMILY ROOM (DOUBLE, 1 SINGLE) 3 DOUBLE ROOMS PLEASE CONTACT: 07789773357

I have a feeling that there are a few Mudcaters who have stayed here before who will, once they have there own acomodation sorted, give there recomendation's.

Kika's in the Phillopeans at the moment work but she will be back to take charge in June. That mean's that she will miss the Grand Turk's visit to Whitby which was a blast last year! We had a great night on board when Mick Haywood (Aaardvark) moved the world famous WHITBY FOLK CLUB on board the Grand Turk on the Wednessday Night. The good news is that Veronica (Kika) will be back for the visit of HMS Bark Endevour on the 26th of June 2002 and Whitby Folk Week. Thankfully no calshes with The Whiby Regatter on Folk Week this year. That said! WHITBY IS A VERY POPULAR PALCE! Get your acomodation sorted out as soon as possible is my advice.

I shall be posting more updates of events as usual. Happy New Year to all and I'll see you all in Whitby or at one or more of the Great UK Folk Festiaval in 2002. That thankfully will not be afected by Foot and Mouth this year! Cheers George
