My mom (who's 74) was recalling a song that she thought was named "Silver Bell." Has anyone ever heard of it? thanks.

Yes, it's Silver Bells. Webb Pierce lyrics are posted here in the forum. I sit this one out, but my band plays it. I'll see if I can find the tune. If it's not on-line, I think I can get music in a day or two.
