Somebody help me!! I am trying to work out the chords for L Cohen's song "So long, Marianne" and I can't find them anywhere. I have checked the Mudcat site, and I cannot seem to connect to Olga these days, so if anyone could help that would be fab :-)

PS. Finally remebered my password so have logged on angain after an absense of about 6 months...

There was a great radio interview with Cohen some time back in which he told the story of Marianne, along with various other things. I never knew that Cohen studied Spanish guitar with a teacher who, in true later Cohen lyrical style, killed himself... as a result of that study Cohen is a better guitar player than is generally thought.

And, in fact, you will have trouble playing this song unless you note that it is in 6/8, and play it with the appropriate rasgueados--also, for the intro, play: A/Asus4--
