Subject: RE: Help: where is John Crane, illustrator? From: GUEST,Ian Beech Date: 01 Jun 16 - 05:53 PM Rumours of John's demise are thankfully unfounded. He is alive and well and still living and working in Wolverhampton. I'm his nephew. |

Subject: where is John Crane, illustrator? From: Steve Parkes Date: 31 Jan 02 - 12:06 PM John's name has come up a couple of times in another thread (I'll do the link when I can find it). He started out in the 70's in the Midlands (of England), illustrating songs, making posters for events and such like. His bold distinctive black & white style was ery popular in the folk world, and is instantly recognisable. I'm sure he must still be around, but he doesn't have a website (can he really exist without one?!). Where is he now? What's he up to? Where can we see his work? Steve |
