Hi,

I need to get up in 7 hours time.

My alarm clock is broken, my girlfriend has taken my mobile, my phone company is asking £10 to wake me up.

I've got a PC which makes sounds. Any ideas?

Paul

First site was a free downloadable software... here

Hope it Helps,

Steve

Your PC already has what you need. Click on Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools and select Scheduled Tasks from the menu. Double-click Add Scheduled Task and let the wizard guide you through the process. Set the time you want the program run and choose something like WindowsMediaPlayer or RealAudio. You can set them to play an audio file from your hard drive or, if your Internet connection is always on (broadband), you can select one of the Internet radio sources. If your PC is close enough to your bed to be heard, you're all set.

I'd advise trying the whole thing first by setting the alarm five or ten minutes into the future just to make sure everything works as you expect.

Good luck,

      - Mark
