Many thanks - I've just turned it on. What we do without Mudcat?

It's finished now but it was very interesting, they said it was a series and the next part is next week.

BBC Radio 4 Website

The show is called "Border Ballads"
14:45 (2:45PM) in the UK/9:45AM Mudcat time.
They have some shows archived, but this doesn't currently seem to be one of them, and isn't in their "A-Z" list of shows.

From their "What's On" page:
History of the border ballads. Michael Tickell discusses The Battle Of Otterburn, which relates how Harry Hotspur, Duke of Northumberland, took revenge on James Douglas in 1388. Then News.

The BBC shows that are archived seem to be long running series in most cases. I emailed them and asked whether the recent Bob Copper/Pete Seeger program would be repeated or put on the website and basically got an extremely polite 'no plans to do this' response.

Pity that its the individual gems that seem to be omitted rather than soaps that run for years, understandable though that policy is.
