* I found an online copy of the lyric where this phrase was "...but my young man's sexy but sweeter." Now, I don't know whether that's a mondegreen or an expurgation, but I stand by my transcription above. Anyway, it suggests how you might change the line if you consider the original too explicit.

If it's not there, do a GOOGLE search for "adegbalola" and you'll get lots more hits.

Thanks for the lyrics and site. I'll try the library I've searched all over the web with no luck. Are you the same person that gave me info on that article about discrimination from the boston globe? If so, I sure would like to know where you found that. Thanks Rustic

Can anyone help me with the chords for this song? From Saffire-the uppity blues women. Recorded in 1987, on their Middle aged blues cd, then later on their Saffire cd. Would also like to find more of their lyrics and chords for other songs. Any ideas besides buying the music book?
