Subject: BS: Sorcha's Back! From: Sorcha Date: 11 Feb 02 - 06:25 PM Total, utter BS, but for those of you who care, Sorcha's back; clean, green and with the very latest Norton issue. I promise to try never, ever, to do that again. The bill wasn't as bad as I expected, though. Only $62.00. The Doc didn't even have to re-format my computer--I had thought he might.
One more time--Mea Culpa, mea culpa, mea culpa. Nuff said. Trolls may send messages to sorchaout@hotmail.com It's February, and I can be as cranky as I like. |

Subject: RE: BS: Sorcha's Back! From: GUEST Date: 11 Feb 02 - 06:45 PM Good to hear from you, Sorcha I did do a search for you, and wondered what had happened. Glad that you're OK If 'guests' are banned, you'll have lot less oportunity to answer lyric requests. That's progress, I guess |

Subject: RE: BS: Sorcha's Back! From: Sorcha Date: 11 Feb 02 - 06:56 PM Morty, you should only be terribly concerned if you have recieved a weird, unsolicited e mail from me.......if depression is green, I am in big trouble. (grin) That part is getting better, though; I forced myself to go for 2 walks yesterday, and cleaned house today. I figure if I can force myself to do a few things, Feb/Mar will be gone before I know it........feckin' virus, anyway! |

Subject: RE: BS: Sorcha's Back! From: Ebbie Date: 12 Feb 02 - 01:25 AM I had an ALERT this week. I wasn't aware that worms/viruses utilize as much as they do. I got an email with an attachment purportedly from my sister-in-law. The SUBJECT line had 'genealogy', one of her - and my- interests in it. But I don't open attachments that I'm not expecting, so I called her. And NO, she had not sent me anything, and I deleted the post without incident. But I didn't realize that worms use key words from their hosts. On an unlucky day I might have opened the attachment... Ebbie |

Subject: RE: BS: Sorcha's Back! From: Cappuccino Date: 12 Feb 02 - 04:02 AM When I saw the thread name 'Sorcha's Back', I was rather expecting an osteopathic subject... Glad to see it, anyway. Ebbie, I've noticed that all the virus-carrying e-mails I've received recently do have a subject line which is familiar, but I've also noticed that in whatever virus this was, the sender's name always started with an underscore _before it. Very nice of the virus-maker to give a warning! - Ian B |
