Subject: RE: BS: Let's Mardi Gras! From: GUEST Date: 12 Feb 02 - 09:12 AM Well, you do what you can do, eh Les from Hull? Personally, I think the only party worth celebrating anymore is Carnivale way down dere in South Amerikay (New Orleans Mardi Gras is now sponsored by AT&T type stuff and much too tame). So don't feel bad, I don't get to party the way we were meant to before Lent either. |

Subject: RE: BS: Let's Mardi Gras! From: Devilmaster Date: 04 Mar 03 - 03:47 PM I did Mardi Gras in 2000. Me and a friend did 5 days there. I think my entire body would go on strike if I subjected it to that again.... ;) Best part of the whole trip, was listening to a small jazz group play 'Over in the Gloryland' outside of Preservation Hall. Great time. Got it on my camcorder, too. I might just have to sit back and watch some home movies... :) Steve |
