Subject: ADDPOP: Marshmallow World (DeRose, Sigman) From: Joe Offer Date: 10 Aug 10 - 05:03 PM MARSHMALLOW WORLD (Peter DeRose, Carl Sigman) It's a marshmallow world in the winter When the snow comes to cover the ground It's the time for play, it's a whipped cream day I wait for it the whole year round. Those are marshmallow clouds being friendly In the arms of the evergreen trees And the sun is red like a pumpkin head It's shining so your nose won't freeze. Oh, the world is your snowball, see how it grows That's how it goes whenever it snows The world is your snowball just for a song Get out and roll it along It's a yum-yummy world made for sweethearts Take a walk with your favorite girl It's a sugar date, what if spring is late In winter it's a marshmallow world. (as recorded by Dean Martin) The song was published in 1949 and popularized by Bing Crosby There was no YouTube when this song was requested. Now we can see the song, as performed by Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra: (click) |

Subject: Marshmallow World From: Newfoundlander Date: 17 Mar 98 - 05:38 PM I've searched the last three Christmas's for the song Marshmallow World by Dean Martin. Anybody know where I could purchase a CD or cassette tape with that song on it. I've heard several other singers do it, but It's Dean Martin's version I'm looking for. Figured I start looking early this year, in hopes of having it for Christmas 1998. HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY to you all. |
