Do you know the lyrics to the song that Joan Baez sang on one of her earlier albums,by the name (I think) of "Jordy? It is a ballad of a man named Jordy who stole the King's royal deer and was then going to be hung in the King's royal court. Thanks, Kristine

I don't know the song you're referring to but it may further your search to know that if you are referring to someone from Newcasle its usually spelt "Geordie"
