Well, folks, there are only two items currently in the auction. If you got something that you want to get rid of and some one else may want you can go ahead and put it up! The portion that goes to the Cat is up to you.

So get on with it!

I have something... Or I will. It's a Holiday Season thing, so I figure it will get more bids toward the end of November...

I think my bid for BORN TO WIN was the highest. How do I get it? Who do I send the money to?

I sent Max a couple of ShoreGrass CD's back in January for the auction. This was right after Mike Miller of the Philly Folksong Society gave it a good review. Don't know what Max ever did with them, but they never showed up in the auction or the recording sales list.

I will be putting up a rare 1969 BBC LP "Ulsters Flowery Vale", produced by Frank Hammond, with some unique recordings of important and influential Northern Irish singers and musicians as featured on the corresponding radio show of the same year.

As always with my auction stuff, 100% of proceeds will go to Mudcat.

I'm not at home now and will post up more details this evening on the auction part of the Mudcat including track listings.

Best regards,

mooman

Mark, send the money to Max, and when he pm's me that he's gotten the money, I mail you the book. PM me your address so I know where to send it. I haven't put the procedure on each of my auction entries (laziness and assuming folks knew what to do), but I will put it on each one in the future. Check the auction in a couple of minutes, Amergin, there'll be a few more things there.

Barbara, I would suggest you go ahead and enter the CDs in the auction, and then when it closes ask Max to send them out. If he has not had time to respond I am sure it is not because he is not appreciative.

He might not have them anymore. I'd better send him a note first.

I think I was high bid on a couple of items that closed this week - I'll be double-checking that; sending a check out and contacting the donors by PM - probably next weekend. *THIS* weekend I'm busy being a proud grand-psuedo-uncle and godpappy.
