Here is an email I received from Dermot O'Reilly for the benefit of any musicians and others in the St Johns area.
To One And All:
A Benefit is being held on Sunday, February 17th at Erin's Pub in aid of Gordon Rowe who lost his house and belongings in a fire in Seldom, on Fogo Island. Gord sustained severe burns in the fire and his house carried no insurance.

Gord is a friend of the Brimstone Head Folk Festival for which he has performed on many occasions since the festival began 26 years ago.
Over the years, at festival time, Gord befriended many of the St. John's area musicians who have travelled to the festival in Fogo and a number of the those musicians will be performing at the event in Erin's in support of the benefit.

Activities start at 2:00 until 1:00 AM. The scheduled performers are: Mike Kinsella, Atlantic Union, Dungarvan, Terry Riley, Gail Tapper, Sons Of Erin, Dermot & Fergus, Middle Tickle, Fifth Avenue, Jim Joyce, Graham Wells, Colin Carrigan, Mike Walsh, Billy Sutton, Foc'sil, Jim Fidler, Government Rams.

Admission is a minimum $5.00 and all donations will be gratefully received.

Contact: Dermot O'Reilly, 437 1753, email dorann@roadrunner.nf.net
