Our house - 5 miles from commonwealth games stadium and on the right side to get in easily. 4 bedroom. 2 bathrooms. Fully equiped. Cable TV (x2). Broadband internet and home network. Complete with use of my car and 2 bicycles for the fortnight. (Provide your own insurance!)

Cost? Two return flights to and from Chicago. Why? I'm not interested in the games and me and Mrs. G. fancy visiting relatives over there.

Anyone here interested before I make enquiries at the official agencies. Any serious offer will be looked into. I will need Mudcat references of course:-)

Cheers

Dave the Gnome

How much do two return flights to Chicago cost?

How easy will it be to get tickets to the games, and how much do they cost?

Thanks

Jeff

Chicago tickets depend where you buy them from and when. I guess around 2-300 UKP each in the UK? Less if bought in the US?

Tickets to the Games - no idea I'm afraid. As I said I am not a fan.

Thanks for the interest anyway.

Cheers

Dave,

As you are aware, the US isn't a Commonwealth member.

Whilst there are Canadians and Australians etc. here, I douubt you'll find many takers.

Your price is too high, and your 'salesmanship' is woeful, if you don't even know the price of the 'package' that you are trying to sell.

Sorry, but it's true.

Salesman I may not be. I don't need the money anyway. Something that the petty minded never understand. At least I have a life. And I can offer something else you will never have - a name, a face and friends in the real world.

Don't bother to respond here. If you throw rocks at a mountain it will only make it bigger. If you want to show up in real life - White Lion, Swinton, Manchester, any Monday. Doubt if you have the bottle though.

Thanks for the laugh and refreshing the thread anyway:-)

Cheers

Dave the Gnome
