Yesterday saw the release of Danú's second album, "All Things Considered". Recorded in Liam Clancy's An Rinn studio, the album features a stunning version of "Easy And Free", where Liam and Danú vocalist Ciarán Ó Gealbháin trade verses.

Saw this group last summer at the Montreal International Celtic Festival. A fantastic group. Good to hear about the new Album. Hope their back this summer for the festival.

Was at the launch gig in Vicar Street in Dublin last night. I have the Album for a few weeks - its been in the shops in advance of the launch.

yes surely third album. And tying this in with Spourdough's trip to Ireland thread, there's another good reason to go to Mooney's in Ring. You might run into Danu.

My band, Greenhouse, opened for Danu a couple of years ago when they toured in NorCal. A great bunch of guys, and mighty players!

I remember the singer mentioning that he owned a pub in Ireland. Would that be Mooney's in Ring?

No michaelr, the Bodhran and Uileann Piper, Donnacha Gough whose mother was a Mooney from Ring, is the man who is connected to the Pub but that is neither here nor there really, just be sure to hear them live somewhere
