Hi all

Just thought I'd point out that I have put 2 books in the Auction - all proceeds to Mudcat.

One is called Sully's Irish Music Book (Tony Sullivan, banjo player) and has lots of tunes I haven't heard of before.

The other is a tribute to Willy Clancy by Na Piobairi Uillean and contains some info on playing the pipes but is mostly tunes - about 100 pages of them, mostly not the run of the mill stuff.

Check it out. Let me know if you want me to scan the tune lists in and post them here.

OK folkies,

Dani has won the bidding on Sully's Irish Music Book at $12.00 after a brief but victorious skirmish with Big Mick, which I thought might become an interesting battle but BM gave up without a fight - for once and only once in his Unionist life (giggle, snort, grin).

He did, however, win the bidding war on Willie Clancy's book at $25.00 by totally devastating the competition in one fell swoop.

Congrats to both of you - but waaaaaaaahhhhhh!!! - now what happens next???

I assume that each of you now have to send the money to Max, and let me know when you have done that and then PM me with your mailing address so that I can send the goodies off to you.
