Sounds fascinating. You might want to try Auxiris, who lives in France at least... do you have any words at all? It might be something I could remember, but not under that name... the only Cordonnier (shoemaker) song I can think of is Le Petit Cordonnier, who was not a sorcerer but only in love with the great lady he's shoing.

I thought that this one was a long shot. Not quite a ballet. I learned it at a traditional dance workshop and wanted to teach it to my fourth grade class--but not without a translation.

NB: The English lyrics could use a little clean-up. I'll get to that in due course.
