Subject: Cornwalll or Devon Friday or Saturdy From: Abuwood Date: 03 Mar 02 - 03:11 AM Dear Friends in the West Country. We have a Hungarian visitor on the 22/24th March and of course we have to take her to see the real sea as she comes from a landlocked country. We are looking to find a singaround, preferably with accommodation near by, so that we can enjoy the local folk and she can go to bed if she doesn't like it. Do you have any suggestions? |

Subject: RE: Cornwalll or Devon Friday or Saturdy From: Mr Red Date: 04 Mar 02 - 03:32 PM thats the one, I have trouble remembering even my angelfire one while I'm in mudcat mindset. Jacobs Ladder in Falmouth has a session night and an open stage night, top of the steps called Jacob's Ladder. I was told about one in the Cadgwith Arms in the Lizeard somewhere, can't remember the night as it was in passing and I don't list that far down - ideas anyone? |

Subject: RE: Cornwalll or Devon Friday or Saturdy From: GUEST,Kernow John Date: 05 Mar 02 - 02:21 AM Abuwood The Cadgwith night is Tuesdays and there is another at the Lizard (my own) on Mondays if you are still down. I was in a band with John Ryan until recently he's a good guy. The club only has singers nights at the moment but is often well attended. Roger Bryant (author of Cornish lads) Jinx (Jinx's stack) go quite regular. I'll see if we can get across that night. KJ |
