In March 5 Oregonian...Ahmadabad India...Virsing Rathod, a Hindu, drove his truck with his two sons through Hindu rioters and pulled Muslims from flames. He saved 25 Muslims and has sheltered dozens in safe houses. Riots were in retaliation for the train that was set on fire....

I am going to find out how to nominate people..if anyone beats me to it or wants to join me, please post a URL or address...mg

don't know why we can't. I wrote to [e-mail] and also the oregonian, where I saw the story. I plan to write to the Vatican and to Mary Robinson of the U.S.

It doesn't look as though just anyone can nominate, according to this page.
