There is a specifically Christmas variant text to "Joyful, joyful", but it doesn't contain any form of the line in question:
Joyful, joyful, we adore You,
God of glory, Lord of light;
Angels lifting praise before You
Sing thro'out this holy night.
In a manger lies a Baby--
Child of Mary, Song of God.
Voices joined in joyful chorus
Praise You for Your gift of love.

All Your works declare Your glory;
All creation joins to sing.
Praise resounds as earth rejoices
In the birth of Christ, the King.
Shepherds kneel before the infant.
Trumpets sound and anthems raise
As with joy our hearts are lifted
Joined in wonder, love, and praise.

Well, Nige, I guess my education in computer games is sorely lacking.

The only three I got because I knew they were games were 1,5, & 6.
I got 10-12 & 14 solely on the clue, but did not previously know they were games.

Never would this 'Murican have known the Brits' informal use of 'Pong'.

Genie:
This thread you posted in does not (normally) contain quiz questions. As people look at the Mudcat over a period of time, The quizzes are placed in the BS section(unless they're music related) and the answers listed in this thread. That allows quiz solvers the chance to attempt the quiz without the answers being given away in the thread.
Most of the lists of answers have 'URL's (or 'Blue Clickies')linking back to the original quiz thread.
Song Quiz for the one which started the answer thread (when the thread was still in date order)
