Subject: Musical Road Trip From: GUEST,SlickerBill Date: 06 Mar 02 - 01:05 PM One of the things I've promised myself is that one day I would take a musical road trip, hitting festivals in a huge circuit, starting in southern Manitoba, Canada, heading south and then making my way back via the east coast, and just camping and going to festivals along the way. So, what are some great music festivals to check out? Where are the best festivals, all kinds of music, (tough mainly rootsy stuff I guess; I'll pass on Ozz Fest!)? Where and when (close as you can come)? I woouldn't mind hearing from my Euro friends as well, should a trip to say Ireland or Scotland coincide. Time of the year doesn't matter; this is kind of a dream of mine; I'll sort out reality later. SB |
