Subject: Stuck CD From: michaelr Date: 13 Mar 02 - 09:29 PM I have a Sony 5-CD changer, and somehow a CD got stuck inside, probably above the tray. I can't get it out, and I can't get the tray to close! I'd appreciate helpful suggestions. Thanks, Michael |

Subject: RE: Help: Stuck CD From: McGrath of Harlow Date: 14 Mar 02 - 09:14 PM Read the manual, there might be something helpful in that. And I take it you've tried rebooting it by pulling the plug and putting it back. And that it's not still on warranty.
If you were in Harlow I could tell you where to take it to find a bloke who sorts out things like that for a reasonable price. Thta oif course isn't in itself a helpful suggestion, but the point is, there's likely enough someone in your part of the world who can do that kind of thing.
The DIY stores sometimes have a notice board with cards for people who can fix things.
