if its any consolation...... two of my friends got thrown out of a bar here in Oz for having a quiet little jam, (in an empty pub on a quiet Wednesday morning... so it wasn't as if they were disturbing anyone).... looks like its spreading!!!

Anyone got links to all the other threads on PEL issues? I have a friend who has just decided it is his life's mission to get some press stirred up to help the government decide on sorting the 2 in a bar rule at the same time as other licensing reforms, if not before, and wants the max VERIFIABLE info to put before the press.

If you want to PM me and are happy to let my friend have your email address, please tell me. I'll vouch that he is not a vexatious email correspondent, and I don't think he's a virus risk either - keeps his machine scrupulously swept.
