Just listening to Chris Amos' brilliant CD, a GREAT version of Turpin really fine concertina playing... we really need to put together a Mudcat CD, if not a mudcat music comune to save folk music from the viral infection of modernity... did I forget to complement the Bonny light horseman... anyone who liked the sound track to Sharps Rifles... well, nice work Chris. Hello - I'me new here - Chris has persuaded me to join the forum and I'm still finding my way around Mudcat.

My name's Anahata and I'm the box and cello player on the CD Larry's talking about. I also did the recording and production.

Hello folks! I'm new to the forum. Blame Chris Amos for getting me to join! Yes - his recordings are great. His stage performances are just as good too. My partner Anahata and I have worked with Chris on gigs in the past, so we can vouch for him. For more trad-type folk music try our songs which Anahata has mentioned in the last posting. We hope you will like them.

Chris made one hell of a good guest on "Acoustic Workshop" a few months ago. Glad to see the 'rest of the band' drop by for a visit.
