Ok ok, I'm a Perlman fan. But this CD is WONDERFUL!!! Celtic music on the banjo with the works: guitar, flute, whistle, guitar, pipes, and fiddle. He's got sound samples at his site at http://www.kenperlman.com/northernbanjo.htm I hope you'll give it a listen and let me know if you agree, it's GREAT!!! Margo

If you're anywhere near western North Carolina.....Perlman will be at the John C. Campbell Folk School ( folkschool.org ) in Brasstown, April 6-12 to teach banjo. He will do a free concert at 7:30 P.M. on the 12th. He is a one of a kind musician. Worth some extra effort to get to hear him.

For UK fans, Ken Perlman is in Wales in June.

He is performing at The Halfpenny Folk Club at The Greyhound Inn, Oldwalls on the Gower Peninsular on Sunday June 23rd.
