Was thinking about a song I heard at a song circle years ago (late '70's/early '80's) in the Chicago area. The song was called "Sleeping on the Steel." I forgot the name of the writer, who I believe came from Florida. The folks who sang the song were Florida transplants, name Barry & Linda Simms. The writer had had some hard times and had been in jail and the song was about that. I know it's a long shot, but if anyone has any information, or the words, I be appreciative. Thanks.
