Any 'catters from the midwest (or wherever) going to the Big Muddy in Boonville next week-end (Apr 5 & 6)? It should be - again this year - really great, w/something for everybody. I've never got worth a darn w/blue clickies, but the simplest of searches, on Big Muddy &/or Boonville (note spelling: no "e" after "Boon") should easily suffice to get the lineup of performers & there's also usually an open mike Saturday afternoon, 'n workshops, exhibits, etc.

Cheers, BK, who plans to be there (even if I might be square)

I see I didn't look down the list of threads far enough to notice there is already a thread abt the festival, giving a short precis & an enthusiac endorsement by Jerry Rasmussen, who has recently headlined there, w/his Gospel group & was much appreciated (Thanks, Jerry!)

I'd still like to know who might be coming & certainly encourage anybody who might be w/in any sort of reasonable driving distance to make the effort to come. It'll be really super!

Cheers, BK

Sorry, I can't go myself, but everybody else should go. There will probably be trees (or at least daffodils) in blossom and hawks hanging over the fields. Cardinals will be singing from the treetops. What a great idea.
