Thanks, folks. I haven't yet figured out from the notation how this tune goes. Musical notation has become somewhat of a lost art for me. I must leave town on business for a week, but when I get back, I may try to find software that can decode abc into midi so I can hear it. Then I'll be able to tell if I recognize it. I finally got this to play in an abc reader. Nope, this is not the tune I'm looking for. It did not sound even vaguely familiar. Still looking for the Joe I used to know. Al
