Ah had a wee rest at a pals place for a few days. No' much o' a rest tho' as he had me traipsin aw' ower the wids. He's ane o' they fresh air nuts.Anyway, the best bit wis he collects auld records an' aw' things tae dae wi music years ago.Whit a treasure hoose o' memorabilia.

Original wax cylinders, auld 78s,books aboot music hall entertainers, you name it he has it.He even has ane o' they auld fashioned players tae play the cylinders, the anes wi' the trumpet thingie.

Harry Lauder,Will Fyffe,John McCormack,Gracie Field he has them aw.

An' tae tap things aff he makes his ain beer, wine, cider an' ither stuff.Aw' this in an auld hoose wi antiques galore.

While ah'm oan the subject, dae oney o' ye know anythin aboot Sandy MacFarlane? He wis a contenporary o' Lauder an' Fyffe. ljc
