Maritime tunes from North Eastern Nova Scotia Canada subject range from songs of local legends to songs of Irish and Scottish heritage. Any established bands looking for new material may want to let me know

Hi, Jack - could I suggest that you compare your lyrics and information with what we have in the Forum and in the Digital Tradition Folk song Database? If you put @Canada in the search box ((or click here)), you'll see we have quite a few.
You'll find may more have been posted in the Forum, but haven't yet made it into the database.
Welcome to the Mudcat Cafe.

Jack. Are you saying you have written a number of songs which are available for others?

Are these of a traditional style?

Do you live in the Halifax or Nova Scotia region?

Reason I ask, there are monthly gatherings of the SongWriters Association of Nova Scotia. They have a showcase on the third Sunday of a month, about 3PM to 6PM at the Split Crow pub. If you need information, I can put you in touch with them.
