Now that Passover has ended, the story can be told:

It seems that in the interest of ecumenicism - and in pursuit of Talmudic wisdom to shape a foreign policy that he makes up from day to day - the president of the United States went to a seder in Washington, the first such holiday feast George W. Bush had ever attended.

He was very impressed.

"That was delicious," Bush said to one of his aides after the soup course. "Do the Jews eat any other parts of the matzoh, or just the balls?"
