Jan is a childrens' entertainer and her van has been written off. If you go to http://www.bcfolkweekend.co.uk and you click Jan's van you can read all about her problem. If we want her to be at our festivals this year and someone out there can help, she'd be so grateful and so would we parents!

A busker told me at Tiverton.
Jan does a lot of the handiwork & kitting-out herself, but she is not one for luxury so all she really needs is a wagon with an MOT. The kiddies play-things she can rustle-up and invent.
I still have the image of a Bromyard concert with these kiddos knotted into sausage-skins of stockinette bouncing around the tent like live salami. The performers were definitely hard pressed trying to sing sad ballads and dirges. Rolling in the aisles? - fer sure.

Artcars are indeed wonderful! The best way to travel ever. Jans van is one of many vehicles that have become chalkboards. I sent a message to her web master but if anyone knows how to contact her directly via e.mail let me know.

Artcars help is available from the artcar community - I run the list artcars@yahoogroups.com a good place to start looking for help.

Jan, I'm afraid, still hasn't been able to get her van sorted out so we probably won't be able to see her at the UK festivals this year. If anybody has any ideas at all this is how you can contact her : Email: webmaster@tywardreath.org.uk - or go www.bcfolkweekend.co.uk and click Jan's Van.

the webmaster is on holiday this week - that is her only e-mail. I can PM with last known BT tel number PM me here. Mrs Lemon has her mobile number but has been unable to get through on that.
Jan e-mailed me to say she is torn between a nail at 250 quid and a grand palace at a grand and a grand nail at 500. Trouble is she has been allowed 250 on the crumpled version.
I think that nail is looking pretty hammerable!
