Dear Sandy,

I have been hoping for a CD issue of "If I Could Be The Rain" by Rosalie Sorrels, the first LP that I ever bought. It is one of the few favorite LP's of mine that I have not yet replaced with a CD version. Will there be a CD issue of it sometime?

That's Ok, Bruce, I'm glad you asked. I'd like a cd copy of that myself. regards, Fortunato

When we can scrape together the necessary funds. I love that recording, too. Right now I'm trying to get Jim Ringer's album, another favorite, re-issued as a CD.

Sandy,

Ringer's LP for you was the best one he ever did. I do hope it works out.

Also in the works: our recording of Hobart Smith, the great banjo player, fiddler, and guitarist from Saltville, Virginia. We'll be able to add a couple of tracks that weren't on the original LP, too.

Then there's the early Bok and TBM stuff that has yet to be transferred to the digital world, and another compilation of field recorded material from the archives. Damn! There sure is a lot to do, and precious little time in which to get it done!

Sandy

Dear Sandy,

Thanks for the update. I hope you can scrape the funds together to issue the Rosalie Sorrels LP on a CD. You can count on me for a guaranteed sale.

Bruce Lewis
