Rik Barron of Prince Edward Island will be appearing at the Mudd Puddle in Frederick Maryland on Thursday evening at 7:30.

For those who don't know Rik, he sing both traditional and modern folk tunes of Eastern Canada. HE is a fine story teller as well as singer and instrumentalist. If you live in the DC/Baltimore area, the trip to Frederick is well worth your time and the Mudd Puddle is a coll coffee house to boot!

He is a memeber of the Maryland Banjo Acadeny crowd and I know that he he has several CD's out. He has also won some East Coast Music Awards up in Cananda. I heard him once in New Foundland (his birthplace) and loved the music. Great guy, well worth the time.
