A duo called "The Sun Also Rises", originating in Cardiff, were supporting The Hennesseys some 25 - 30 years ago. Does anyone out there know what became of them, or if they made any other than the one album (The Sun Also Rises). As far as I recall their names were GRAHAM and ANNE HEMINGWAY. They played some good Fairport/Inc. String Band type music.

According to www.rockinworld.com, "The Sun Also Rises" was their only album. The current reissue (available at that site) includes one extra track that wasn't on the original release. Margaret

I've sent Frank Hennessey an e-mail at the BBC at [e-mail] and he's trying to find out where they are. (Yes he did reply).Great minds think alike Sian. It would be nice to hear if T.S.A.R. are still around or if they made a recording of a song called "Air Birds".

You could also try Ian Anderson (the Folk Roots one) - ISTR TSAR recorded on his label . .

It was probably a very clever use of the name "The Sun Also Rises" for a duo with the surname Hemmingway;
But it makes web searches more difficult as the all come up with the novel of that title by Ernest Hemmingway.
