Subject: Req ID:"A broken heart? A broken head?" From: robotlord@aol.com Date: 10 Apr 98 - 07:13 PM Anyone know the name and artist of the following song? the lyrics aren't exactly right, but go something like this: "Good morning, Mister Blue. We've got our eyes on you. The evidence is clear that you've been scheming. You've got a slot to fill. And fill that slot you will. You'll learn to love it or we'll break you. What will it take to whip you into line? A broken heart? A broken head? It can be arranged..." My email address is robotlord@aol.com Thanks for any help you can give me. |

Subject: RE: Req ID From: Joel Ponzan Date: 10 Apr 98 - 11:28 PM The lyrics are from an anti-war/military song called "Mr. Blue" by Tom Paxton. He recorded a strangely lighthearted arrangement, a better, more sinister one was cut by a rock band in the sixties (I'm too lazy to look up the name of the band). |
