Subject: There were three men of Bristol city From: Deni Date: 22 Apr 02 - 02:30 PM does anyone please know this song, or who wrote it. it's all about Little Boy Billy who was nearly eaten by his shipmates because all they had left was one split pea. I won't spoil the ending by telling you what happens, but it's a cracker... Please... Ta deni |

The original, which was nearer the top than this one and should have been more obvious, is here. Check it out; you'll see why I wonder sometimes if I should bother spending so much time putting all those links in. Link fixed. Gee, Malcolm, sometimes I wonder why I bother! --JoeClone, 25-Apr-02. |

Incidentally, Deni, error messages when starting a new thread aren't all that uncommon, and are often misleading. What I do is open a new browser window to see if the thread has appeared in the Forum; usually it has, but if not, I give it a few minutes and then try again. Generally works. |
