I tried recently to get the Lyrics of a song by Thom Bresh called "Old Cold Shoulder" but I got bombarded by the lyrics of that awful Garth Brooks number and the thread spun out of control in a completely different diection!!! Such is life.

The song starts,

Well, I asked her for the time,
I said I hoped she wouldn't mind,
If I nipped out for a drink and then got back by nine,
And if she could be so sweet,
As to knock up a bite to eat,
I'd buy some kingsize cigarettes and a bottle of wine.

Any help would be appreciated.....

Didn't find any lyrics, but you can purchase a 45 here, for $4.00 US.
