For those of you who have yet to see this superb musicdocudrama It's last performance is on the 4th May at the Princess Pavilion Falmouth.
I believe that a company in America has been talking to Mike O'Connor about putting it on an Amercan version so you may yet get lucky over there.

So bad news but possible good news. Just a thought, has any enterprising and technically competant person yet videoed it?

I am a new member of the Cornwall songwriters and so was not involved in the Cry of Tin, There was a plan to video it professionally, but it all got a bit problematic, there is a copy on video of a performance, but I don't think at this time it is a marketable recording!
I'll be at the Ringers on Mayday evening, (Wednesday)May see some of you there?
Cheers, Lucy

Hey Lucy were you at Princetown?
Seeing your post above made something click. We were on the way out and said we had to leave early as we were going to Roger Bryant's session and I think someone referred to the Songwriters then. Was that you?

I am looking for the words to The Miners Anthem from the Cry of Tin - are they posted anywhere? The chorus is 'trust the God you know'. Sang it at Bodmin when the Johnson Girls were visiting there. Sounds in the room stood the hair up on the back of your neck.. Super song topping my songs to learn list.

Abuwood

Jon and Kathy have said they're not coming to Whitby this year, but they're performing the new show, about the lost gardeners, at the Cornwall festival over the Bank Holiday weekend!

Kitty

PS See you in the Endeavour next week, hopefully?

Why not do it the easy way, and come to the Wearham Wail? I think they will both be there. (Please? I can look after the cats honest!)

Wassail
Chris

That would be great Marion - Thanks, I can hear most words but I don't want to get them wrong.
Yes Kitty we are headed for Whitby after Burntwood, in the same house again, a festival with no duties - Great!

I really need to know the lyrics to I feel fine, from the cry of tin, because I'm performing it in a couple of days and I don't know the words yet, and I've looked on the internet and still can't find anything.
Help would be much appriciated.

Lowenna,
I've had a good search but can't find my copy of the script anywhere so I'm unable to post the words you want here. Try contacting Mike O'Connor, I know for sure he has copies (and the original) His e-mail is:- moconnor@ision.co.uk. Or try the Lyngham house website.Good luck with the performance.
