Charlie Poole recorded it under the title 'What is home without babies?' The lyrics can be found here:

Roy Harvey also recorded it with the North Carolina Ramblers (without Poole) in 1928. Howard Dixon of the Dixon Brothers recorded a 'Woman's Answer to "What Is a House Without Love"' with Frank Gerald as The Rambing Duet in 1938.

The Monroe Brothers also did a clssic version in the late thirties. It's on "Feast Here Tonight", tho' they may have changed the name of the CD re-issue.
