Subject: '..on top of the houston hotel' From: JohnnyBGoode Date: 01 May 02 - 12:12 PM When I was a teenager I joined Columbia Records Club on trial, ordered some albums, taped them, and returned them. Wrong perhaps, but I was poor! One of the selections was a 2 lp compilation called "Blues Roots". The tape has been lost, but for years I 've wanted to hear a song again. There are two men involved, and there's some talking. It may be Earl Hooker's "Two bugs and a Roach"....or similiar. Anyway, the singer says "Coming to you live from the Houston Holiday Inn....on top of the Holiday Inn..." as if he's playing on the roof! Can I have some help identifying this? Thanks |
