Any one driving to Old Songs festival from NYC or any community reachable by Metro North with room for one and probably two individuals please advise. I am traveling to festival with a mildly handficapped person who would have difficulty with the bus and Amtrack plus cab fare is costly.

Thank you.

Glen

Glen, when is Old Songs? I've missed it for the last 3 years and would like to go if I can make it. If I can, I live in NJ, work in NY and would be glad to give you and your friend a lift. I have a Dodge Caravan that's comfortable.

Annamill, Old Songs is just west of Albany NY. My freind lives in NYC...I work and live in Jersey City, NJ. Would you prefer to drive from NYC or from NJ? Also how early, can you leave. Iwas planning to take Friday through Monday as vacation days.

Got my tickets and I'm a-ready to go. (Well, I may have to buy a new tent as the one I've had for about 12 years now tends to let water through the floor.)

I'm going to Bob Franke's songwriting class on Fri (Part II on Sat). Anybody else?

Complaint: they've got the acapella jam scheduled for the same time as 'Songs of the Sea' with David Jones and NexTradition. WAAAAAHHH!

'Course there was this earlier thread on Old Songs 2002 in which numerous people already chimed in on the "who's going?" front.

I'll really will be there this year barring disasters and other potential killers. The Maine contingent will include me, Dahlin, Murray and their mother.

Kendall, save me some space so we can do Coplas together!
