Help: UK Guitar Maker P Smyth - Deva Guitars

Just bought an electro/acoustic bass - secondhand at a guitar fair.... the guitar is hand built and the makers label inside says DEVA GUITARS - maker P Smyth
I have had a check around the net but can't find any information - I would like to find out some details so If anyone out there knows of the maker or the company, how to contact and what if anything they are doing now please let me know.....

The guitar was made in June 1995 and the seller thinks the maker lives in the south of England (Devon/Cornwall area)but wasn't sure!!

DEVA is the Latin name for Chester. Matbe that will give you a clue for the search area.

I've emailed a couple of friends in that area to do some research....
