Had no luck PM'ing other 'Cats today. Had problems logging in. Posted to one thread and went to check it an hour later and it had disappeared.... found it through use of a filter, posted to it and, upon refresh, it had disappeared again.

Have emailed Jeff and Max. Anyone else having problems ?

I've done some exploring and I think I've figured out that all the messages posted between 5:46 pm and 6:37 pm yesterday, May 6, were erroneously given a date of May 5. These messages were numbered from 705491 to 705546 – 56 messages in all. In some threads, this caused messages to appear out of order. Any threads that were started during that period would have seemed to disappear, because they seemed to be older than they actually were, too old to be picked up by the 1-day filter.

The problem has been fixed now, but there still are some messages with the wrong date on them. There is a thread about this in the help forum. (Click on "Help" in the upper right corner of the page.)

I tried to check the Brussels thread this morning (anxiously awaiting the pictures!) and couldn't find it. A search found it, the last post was 4:15 yesterday (when I was checking this morning), but it didn't appear on today's page. While I was doing this, someone else posted to it and it came back up. I just thought that maybe a thread disappeared when someone was actively posting to it. dunno.... Also, I've noticed that it seems to take longer for a post to "send" when there are two of us posting to it at the same time.

Late this morning I looked at the list, and the very top message in the list was dated April 7!

I posted a thank you message to GaryT who found some lyrics and chords for me and both my messages are dated before the original post. Please ensure he gets my thanks the thread has disappeared.

The thread didn't disappear Guest, but because of the tech problem it fell back to previous pages. Every thread here is still here back to '97 or longer. Why not repost to the thread and pull it up again?

Gnu,
I haven't had problems with posting as much as with finding old threads in the forum, even when I know key phrases in the thread title or the exact thread title.
