Subject: Celtic Heritage Fest-Richmond VA (May) From: Maryrrf Date: 06 May 02 - 09:42 PM All you Mudcatters in Central Virginia and surrounding areas, don't miss the 2nd Annual Celtic Heritage Festival in Hanover County. It's about 15 miles north of Richmond. Check out this site (still some info missing, but it'll give you directions) Click here . If the clicky doesn't work here's the address http://celticheritagefestival.com . There will be a great new group from County Antrim that we brought over especially for the festival. They're called "Killultagh" and they'll be giving trad music workshops from 1 - 3 pm on Friday May 17th and running sessions at Sine Session Tent on the Festival grounds all day Saturday and Sunday May 18th and 19th. (There is a mudcatter in the group, by the way!) For anybody who's in Richmond, they'll be playing at Shenanigans on Laburnum Avenue May 15th, Sine's Irish Pub on May 16th, and they're booked at the Williamsburg Regional Library Concert Hall May 17th. PM me for further details if you're interested. |
