Damn, I like this guy!

Johnny (sorry 'bout the difference in spelling...I simply can't remember) made his second visit to my 'Acoustic Workshop' radio show last night, and once again was a great guest. Smart, funny, yards of talent, and the decency just 'oozes' out of the guy.

He's one of those folks you just wish was a next door neighbour. He's gonna be at the Tranzac (here in Toronto) on Sunday night, so any Ontario Catters who want a treat...drop by.

You Brit folks are lucky to have him.

Totally agree, Johnny is a really nice guy, spent some time with him on his last two visits over here. Fortunately/Unfortunately we are going to Ireland on Thursday of this week so I do not get to see him perform this time. The singing in Bev's kitchen last week will have to do for this trip. I think he will be back again if enough people make the effort to see him and he is really worth seeing, hearing too. He is also doing a Fundraising Concert for Millrace Folk Festival at the UK CLub in Cambridge Ont. on the 11th May along with County Vaudeville and Cat's on Fire Morris. JohnB.

And he's been coming to Herga regularly (gigs permitting)since the 1970s, because it's his local folk club. Believe me, we know how lucky we are! It's amazing how many songs he knows.....

That's where Susette and I saw him last, at Herga in September, great night!
